Role Overview:
We are seeking a Regional Lead to spearhead the growth of the Stacks ecosystem in your area. As the Regional Leader, you will be the key representative of the Stacks Asia Foundation in your region, responsible for driving strategic partnerships, building relationships with key stakeholders, and growing the overall profile of Stacks in the region. You will work closely with the Stacks Foundation and other regional leaders to execute growth strategies tailored to your market.
Key Responsibilities:
Regional Point of Contact: Serve as the primary point of contact for all Stacks-related activities in your region, engaging with local partners, developers, and institutions.
Advocacy and Thought Leadership: Represent Stacks at key industry events and conferences to advocate for the benefits of Bitcoin layers and Stacks technology in the local blockchain space.
Partnership Development: Identify, establish, and nurture strategic partnerships with local businesses, institutions, and community leaders to drive the adoption of Stacks and Bitcoin-powered DeFi.
Community Building: Build and support a vibrant local developer and user community by collaborating to ensure there are interesting opportunities for the community to engage, including Meetups and other events that promote the Stacks ecosystem.
Market Growth: Develop and implement regional growth strategies aimed at increasing awareness, liquidity, and the accessibility of the STX token.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Stacks Foundation and other global partners to ensure that regional efforts are aligned with broader ecosystem goals.
Requirements:
Proven track record in business development, partnership management, or ecosystem growth within the blockchain or tech industry.
Strong understanding of the Bitcoin and blockchain ecosystem, particularly with respect to decentralized finance (DeFi).
Extensive network of contacts within the blockchain space in your market, including investors, developers, and institutions.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently while collaborating with a global team.
Passion for Bitcoin and a deep belief in its role as the foundation for a decentralized future.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
5-7 years of professional experience in startups, open-source technology, crypto, or similar
Experience working with blockchain technologies, DeFi, or cryptocurrency exchanges.
Familiarity with Stacks and its ecosystem.
Prior experience in community building or developer advocacy.
